Freshest Local Produce

the friendly warmth of a traditional pub

Sitting in the hamlet of Norton, 3 miles from Faversham, this popular 13th Century Inn renowned for its excellent menu and fine Shepherd Neame ales, is ideally placed for exploration of the Kent countryside and nearby market town of Faversham. The area holds everything for appreciators of the countryside as well a being just a few miles away from the diverse and cultural Cathedral City of Canterbury. Various events are organised at the Plough and there are fine walks, cycling,  and a golf course in close proximity. We feature live jazz and local bands each Wednesday night

The inn is painted white, with black door and window surrounds, and has a particularly warm and welcoming interior, with beams, horse brasses, copper pans, drinking pots and period prints contributing to the traditional look. During the winter months our traditional open fire makes for a cosy retreat!

Your chosen meal can be eaten anywhere around the pub and in the summer months you can enjoy the relaxing sunshine over a quenching pint in our huge beer garden where our younger visitors are also welcome to run off their energy! We are open from 11am until 3pm and 6.30pm - 11pm.  Our menu is available from 12 noon -2.30 pm and 7pm - 9.30pm daily.

Dave, Gaz, Paul and their friendly team look forward to welcoming friends old and new.
